If you're looking for delicious Mexican food in the Austin area this is your spot! And you have to get a purple margarita! It was strong and delicious. Chris was our server and he was amazing! I will definitely go back to this place the next time I'm in Austin.

It was a beautiful day in Austin and the weather was perfect! I ordered two tacos 🌮 ($5.00 each). After a 25 minute wait at the food truck, the tacos finally arrived: two, 5 inch tortillas, a very small amount of white cheese, a teaspoon of meat, sauce (an eight-bite lunch). With a bottle of water and tax... $13.20... NICE!!

Been here 2x now. First time I tried a Mexican martini and the second time I tried a purple margarita. Always fast service. Also had the beef nachos on happy hour and they were really good. Both times I’ve been here it’s never crowded.

The staff were all great. That said, it is a pretty underwhelming place. The bar space is fine and the restaurant is well laid out. It is well lit and mostly normal. Most of everything had a bit of a soapy taste. Their famous purple margarita was indeed purple, but that is about the only thing it had going for it. A small serving, it was fairly soapy tasting. The same can be said regarding the house margarita on the rocks, sans being purple. These were all pre-made. The quesadilla, while well constructed, was lacking. The meat was slightly overcooked and over seasoned, and the cheese had a slight funk to it. This restaurant is okay for the quick pop in, but with so many contenders in the neighborhood, I'd ask why?

Drew served my friend and I on the patio this evening and he was AMAZING. He was able to provide recommendations for amazing margaritas! I’ve come to this Baby A’s a few time, but I usually go to the one by the Arboretum. I will frequent this location just to come back for the spectacular service from Drew! 10/10 he’s my favorite server. The happy hour tacos were also great! Did I mention Drew recommended them?
